To reduce the Brazilian Social inequality by contributing towards the socio and educational development of needy children and teenagers helped by legitimate non-profit institutions, through collection and management of resources from individuals and companies.

We believe that love, dignity, respect for others and civility are the best ways for our moral and spiritual evolution.

We legally qualify as a Civil Organization for Public interest (OSCIP) in resolution from National Justice Secretary in Brasilia dated May 10, 2004, process MJ 08026.003279/2004-39, published in the Union Official Diary on May 18, 2004.

Entities who donate resources to Instituto Cândido are allowed deductions of up to 2% of the operational profits for the donation given, based on the Corporation Tax Reduction (Law 9.249/95- Medida Provisória 2.158/34 de 28/07/2001).
